I have spent my entire life learning about why we as humans think, feel and act the way we do. An early curiosity lead me to study psychology, this curiosity evolved into a passion for helping others make sense of their own psychology resulting in my specialist training.
As a Counselling Psychologist, I have undergone extensive training in all areas of psychology and mental health and reached the 'gold standard' of accreditation by becoming Chartered by The British Psychological Society (BPS).
I am registered and entitled to practice as a Counselling Psychologist under the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC; the UKs regulator of all health care professionals).
I am bound by the highest standard of professional codes of practice and ethics (as set out by the BPS and HCPC), I attend regular supervision, and undertake professional development training to keep up to date with current thinking and research.
I hold professional liability insurance and I am fully checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously known as CRB: the Criminal Records Bureau)
